Venture to the nearby village of Rothbury which offers eateries to sample local produce and lovely independent shops to browse. Further afield you can explore Alnwick Castle walk on the stunning beaches at Bamburgh and no visit is complete without exploring the historic castle there or why not head over to Holy Island which is of significant historical interest. Northumberland is one of the largest designated dark sky regions in Europe making this a place to return time and time again. Step into the property and relax in the ambient lounge with its lovely decor and cosy wood burner where you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch the TV/DVD together. Here you will also find a selections of games books and dressing up for the children.
