Langton Matravers is one of those quintessential Dorset villages all pretty stone cottages and welcoming locals. It s just a short stomp from your cottage to the dramatic coastal scenery of the Dancing Ledges. Feeling adventurous stop for a dip in the manmade pool that s carved into the rocks or follow the gorgeous coast path to the sprawling golden sands at Swanage. Snake westwards along the paths from Dancing Ledges to the pretty coastal villages of Worth Matravers and Kimmeridge. At the end of a busy day exploring you ll find two pubs just a short walk from the property to relax with a cold pint and some hearty food. One of the most charming things about this cottage is the traditional features. The exposed beams and imposing stone fireplace lend a distinctly cosy feel to the cottage. On the ground floor there s a huge lounge that extends the full width of the cottage with comfortable sofas and chairs. It s perfect for gathering around the TV with your nearest and dearest for a relaxing evening in wood burner gently crackling in the background.
