The lovely resort of Shanklin is famous for its long golden sandy beach which forms a delightful bay and for the historic and picturesque Shanklin Old Town with its thatched cottages tearooms and the beautiful chine. This idyllic holiday location is on the east side of the Isle of Wight and has excellent access to the other beaches on the coast. There s a choice of shops cafes and restaurants both in Shanklin village and down on the seafront. The esplanade also features traditional seaside entertainments including crazy golf. You can walk directly from the house to the beach and there s a lift from the cliff top to the esplanade. There is also a train service available to Ryde. On entering this attractive holiday home you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner. Tastefully furnished with comfy seating TV DVD and a PlayStation with games the light and airy lounge is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day out. You will also find a charming dining area with a large bay window from which you can watch the passing boats. There is a separate breakfast room with TV which adjoins the kitchen.
