This lovely cottage is a short stroll from the village square in picturesque Corfe Castle a pretty and historic village which nestles among the Purbeck Hills and is renowned for its castle ruins and thatched cottages. This is a fantastic walking area and you can walk directly from the cottage to join footpaths to the nearby downs and to the coastal path a couple of miles away. This beautiful area of coastline extending from Swanage to Weymouth is part of the spectacular Jurassic Coast England s first natural World Heritage Site. The four miles of sandy beach at Studland are a short drive away as is the charming seaside resort of Swanage where you can enjoy swimming fishing boating and diving. On entering this lovely Grade II listed cottage which dates back to 1780 and retains several original features including beams flagstone floors and an open fire you will find yourself in the bright and welcoming lounge.
