This property enjoys a quiet village location in the village of Whitwell just two miles from the Isle of Wight s beautiful south coast with its abundance of beaches and warm microclimate. The village itself is home to a family-run pub which is located a ten-minute walk from the property whilst just three miles down the road in Ventnor there is a wide choice of pubs restaurants and cafes to choose from many of which can be found on the town s esplanade. The beach at Ventnor has a fantastic sandy beach whilst the neighbouring beach at Steephill Cove can only be accessed by foot and offers a quiet secluded beach with a seafront restaurant and even a resident donkey. There is one shallow step which leads up to the front door of this detached single-storey cottage and directly into the open-plan lounge/diner. This comfortable room has a choice of seating from which to enjoy the TV/DVD at the end of a busy day whilst the dining table sits between the lounge area and the doorway which leads through to the kitchen. This well-equipped room has everything that guests will need to prepare all their favourite dishes including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom meanwhile is a peaceful double room which benefits from its own TV making it perfect for enjoying some late-night television. An extra guest can be accommodated on request on the sofa bed in the lounge for an extra charge. The bathroom offers not only a bath but also a separate shower cubicle and WC. Patio doors from the lounge lead directly out to the wonderfully spacious garden where guests will find a relaxing patio area complete with chairs and sun loungers overlooking the generously-sized lawns which are bordered by mature shrubs and fruit trees.
