You can leave the car behind if you wish and walk to the famous Devils Bridge just one mile away from your base on the footpath that s just a short walk away sit by the river. Further afield you can explore the Lake District a drive away and you will reach the stunning shores of Lake Windermere where you can explore the lake via a lake steamer as the day floats on by. Wherever you explore you will not be disappointed. Enter via three external steps directly into the hallway where you find a cupboard under the stairs for your coats and boots to be stored to your left you have a shower room with shower and WC and located directly next door to the king-size zip and link bedroom (which can be made into a twin by request when booking) the room is airy light and spacious straight ahead you then enter the other king-size-bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and WC. Leading on up the stairs you arrive in the lounge which has a large sofa and two chairs which are well positioned to cosy up and enjoy the wood burner or just catch up on the day s news on the TV it is a great place to relax in after a day of exploring this wonderful region. Moving into the adjoining kitchen/dining area the kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge and freezer the dining area has a table with seating for four.
