This popular village has a fine selection of shops and pubs and a couple of miles away Matlock Bath has a huge selection of cafes and ice cream parlours and is also the starting point for the cable car that takes you to the Heights of Abraham. Each Saturday there is a parade of the boats at the illuminations and fireworks throughout the Autumn. The old mill town of Matlock has a superb range of craft shops independent stores and bars whilst Chatsworth Estate is just ten miles away. Outdoor enthusiasts are well catered for with the wondrous Peak District National Park with a wealth of must visit tourist spots. Take a walk up to Black Rocks and enjoy a picnic alongside the beautiful views. Going up to the second floor accessed via steep stairs you will find a twin bedroom located in the converted attic space. The outside offers an enclosed garden slightly away from the property located a few steps away from the back door. Take the garden steps up to find the seating area to relax and enjoy a cold drink in the sunshine overlooking the surrounding gardens and wildlife and at the end of the garden there is secure bike storage.
