With its harbour beach dunes and vibrant Main Street Seahouses is a superb base from which to explore Northumberland s myriad magnificent sights. In addition to the pretty fishing trawlers in the port there are also several boats offering trips to the nearby Farne Islands with their impressive birdlife the famous puffins of course plus varieties of terns and grey seal colonies. It makes for an unforgettable day out. Back on dry land there are several great spots to enjoy the freshest fish dinner imaginable shops cafes and pubs. Visit the nearby Ocean Club with its pool spa fitness suite and coffee shop. Close to Seahouses are the pretty villages of Bamburgh the castle is a must-see local landmark and Beadnell while Alnwick and Holy Island are only a short drive away. Access to the apartment is on the ground floor where a communal front door leads up a flight of stairs to your own door on the first floor. Entering through a hallway to the lounge you re greeted by a welcoming space with two sofas chairs and a dining table seating six. Entertainment is provided by a TV DVD and iPod dock (new gen ipods) or for more natural stimulation simply marvel at the wonderful sea and coastline views from the lounge windows. The adjacent open-plan kitchen includes a dishwasher while a washing machine can be found in a utility cupboard in the entrance hallway. This first floor is also home to one double bedroom with French doors opening to a small balcony plus a shower room with WC. Stairs ascend to the second floor where there are two bedrooms: a master double including an en-suite bathroom with WC and a twin-bedded room incorporating an en-suite shower room with WC. Outside space comprises a balcony at the front with table chairs and fabulous sea views and a larger rear balcony on which to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Guests also have use of a delightful lawned communal garden. Parking is available inside the development subject to availability. There is also a car parking permit inside the property.
