The quaint village of Warkworth is just half a mile away and offers a great range of pubs restaurants and independent shops. There s also a wealth of countryside to explore as well as an exceptional beach with miles of sandy dunes and spectacular views. There are lots of water sports activities that take place on this stretch of coast including surfing and canoeing. Within easy reach is Warkworth Hermitage a medieval cave and chapel of a solitary holy man which is accessible by boat. Among other highlights are Warkworth Castle the popular seaside town of Amble and Coquet Island. On entering this spacious and attractive property which is accessed via a gravel farm track and retains plenty of original features including exposed beams you will find yourself in the traditional and welcoming lounge/diner. With comfy seating and a fantastic wood burner this is a lovely space to relax in. There s also a charming dining area which is ideal for dining in style. Going up to the first floor you will find two cosy bedrooms.
