Whitstable has long been a favourite for holidaymakers looking to enjoy a seaside break in a friendly yet surprisingly cosmopolitan small town. Quite unlike anywhere else Whitstable s main draw is its unique character its independent boutiques and its vast range of eateries. Many of the town s restaurants and pubs specialise in serving local freshly-caught seafood including the oysters for which the town is famous. The area surrounding the town has plenty to see and do including the wildlife parks at Howletts and Port Lympne the cathedral at Canterbury and the retro-styled theme park in Margate. This end-of-terrace cottage has been lovingly finished in a chic understated style and makes a wonderful place to enjoy a seaside break. The first room that guests will come to on arrival is the kitchen/diner: a spacious contemporary room with a large dining table an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer washer/dryer and dishwasher perfect for those who prefer to eat in rather than make use of the town s huge number of restaurants. Guests will also find a quiet snug room on this floor an ideal space for relaxing with a good book as well as a cloakroom with WC. Stairs lead to the first floor where the stunning lounge is located. This stylish light-filled room has a lovely relaxing atmosphere comfortable sofa seating and a TV/DVD as well as doors which lead out onto the seafront balcony. The first of three bedrooms can also be found on the first floor: a double room next to which there is a bathroom with a bath handheld shower and WC. The remaining two bedrooms can be found on the second floor of the property: a restful double room and a charming twin room both of which have a sloping ceiling and therefore some reduced head-height. There is also a shower room with WC on this floor. Outside there is an enclosed terrace to the front of the property where there is a shingled seating area with garden furniture providing a delightful place to enjoy alfresco meals or drinks. In addition to this there is also a first-floor balcony which is accessed through patio doors in the lounge and offers a fantastic place to relax whilst enjoying the sea views.
