Seasalter is a pretty seaside village in East Kent well-known in the area for its fantastic gastropub which is a short walk from the property perfect if you prefer to eat out rather than spend time cooking whilst on holiday. There are even more excellent restaurants in the nearby town of Whitstable which is particularly well-known for its oysters. You may choose to simply spend time on the beach either the local one in front of the house or perhaps make your way to Whitstable where you can take the opportunity to enjoy the local shops bars cafes and restaurants or try out a number of water sports. Or why not drive or take the bus to nearby Canterbury where a treasure trove of shops sits under the shadow of the city s historic cathedral. Several steps lead from the decking down to the wild coastal grassed area where chairs sit gathered around a warming fire pit providing a fantastic space to sit in the evenings and take in the beautiful surroundings birdlife and glorious sunsets. The part of the beach beyond the garden and up to the average high tide level belongs to the Blue Beach House so stepping off the end of the garden you have in effect your own slice of beach to enjoy.
