This property enjoys a fantastic location just one mile north of Eastbourne town centre in the area known as Motcombe Village the town s historic quarter. Eastbourne is a traditional seaside resort town which boasts a three-mile wide shingle beach with a beautifully restored Victorian pier and a great range of shops restaurants pubs and bars. To the west of the town just a short walk from the property is the edge of the South Downs National Park which has many miles of walking routes to be enjoyed including the two-mile walk to Beachy Head. The front door of this delightful cottage opens onto a hallway off from which there is a cloakroom with a WC. Walking through the hallway guests will come to the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner a wonderful space which provides a great space to come together and enjoy one another s company. The lounge area in this room is a light-filled space with wooden floors and an area of exposed cobble wall which create an attractive blend of old and new. There is comfortable seating here as well as a TV/DVD whilst in the dining area the original stone fireplace is home to the warming wood burner. The kitchen area to the rear of the space has a door which leads out to the courtyard garden and is equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge dishwasher and a washing machine. Stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor where the relaxing master bedroom is located. This dual-aspect room has a double bed and enjoys splendid views over the South Downs National Park. There is also a delightful twin bedroom on this floor with wrought iron bedsteads. Take the steep turned staircase to the attic space on the top floor where a cosy single room is located as well as the main bathroom. The bathroom feels like a restful retreat-like space with its intricately tiled floor a sumptuous roll-top bath and WC. Guests should be aware that both rooms on the top floor have sloping ceilings and some reduced head-height. Outside there is a modestly-sized yet pretty patio garden located to the rear of the property where the owners have provided a table and chairs to allow guests to easily enjoy al fresco dining.
