A popular spot in the South-East of the New Forest National Park East Boldre is home to ponies donkeys and cattle which can be seen roaming the open heathland and forest surrounding the property. A popular local pub is a short walk away or you can head into Brockenhurst or Lymington which have a good selection of local conveniences. For a dose of history head to Beaulieu where you can visit Palace House or the renowned motor museum. Bucklers Hard is also well worth a trip and gives an insight into the strong maritime heritage this area is known for.
