Visit Devizes on foot which is home to the famous Caen Hill Locks and holds a popular farmers market each Thursday. The town of Melksham is also easily accessible and offers a good selection of pubs cafes and shops. Set within rolling pastureland and with the village centre occupying a high vantage point there is an abundance of picturesque routes winding through this verdant landscape that are suitable for walking and riding. Whatever the weather you are sure to find plenty to do with attractions including Avebury Lacock and Longleat House and Safari Park all within easy reach. A long unmade private driveway leads you to the detached property. From the parking area at the side of the barn you will find the main entrance which opens into a striking open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This stunning room has a vaulted ceiling and original beams which you can admire whilst settling down on the comfy sofa and feeling the warmth of the wood burner. A TV and DVD player make this the ideal place to relax in front of a good film. Heading outside to the front of the barn is a patio area with furniture and a charcoal BBQ surrounded by undulating natural lawn which runs into the farmland beyond and is often visited by deer.
