This property s idyllic location in the southern Shropshire Hills makes it an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts cyclists and keen walkers alike with many trails starting from the property such as the Shropshire Way Jack Mytton s Way and Offa s Dyke offering miles of scenic walks close to the border. Other places of interest in the area include Clun which is a mile away from the property and boasts its own museum pubs shops cafes and castle as well as the ancient Packhorse Bridge as well festivals through out the year. A little further a field you will find the town of Ludlow as well as Iron Bridge and the attractive manor house at Stokesay Castle. This property is one of two similar properties located at this small holiday complex and can be booked along with Hopton. On entering the cottage guests first come to the light and airy kitchen/diner with its dining table to seat six and farmhouse-style units. Guests can easily make themselves at home here as it is well-equipped with an electric oven hob microwave dishwasher and fridge. (There is use of a washing machine and tumble dryer and large freezer are all available on request). The lounge is also located on the ground floor; it is a homely room with comfortable seating a cosy open fire and views across the garden and the neighbouring woodland. There is a TV and DVD here for guests enjoyment. There are two useful additions to the ground floor: a cloakroom with WC and a boot room with a door giving access to the gardens. Upstairs you will find the stairs lead off to 2 separate areas of the property . The first of these is a restful double room with bathroom next door which has a bath WC basin and large heated towel rail there is also a twin room and a cosy bunk bedroom on the other side of the landing that has a shower and sink. Guests should be aware that due to the style of the property there are sloping ceilings and some reduced head height in all three bedrooms. Outside guests can enjoy the spacious shared gardens which are mainly set to lawn with some handy picnic tables and benches scattered throughout. Guests also have access to a ten-acre paddock which has a river running through it. A BBQ can be provided on request. There is ample off road parking. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, and 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom with bath and WC and separate shower and basin located adjacent to twin and bunk room. Ground floor cloakroom with WC. TV and DVD. Open fire (first basket of logs provided in the Winter months, with more available at a small charge). Wi Fi available. Electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer and large freezer available on request. Cot and highchair available on request. Bed linen, electric, towels, and heating included. 2 dogs welcome dogs are not permitted upstairs and must not be left unattended. Stairgate available. Ample off road parking. Arrival 4pm.
