Popular Tansley village is nestled on the edge of the Peak District next to the market town of Matlock the perfect base to enjoy tranquillity and to explore the Peak District. Nearby Bakewell Chatsworth and Matlock Bath are easily accessible by car. There are lovely country walks from the cottage itself and several wonderful pubs within a five minute walk. Matlock has a large variety of shops supermarkets a launderette cafes restaurants pubs indoor swimming pool weekly market and parks. Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the river with fish and chips cable cars and numerous entertainment. Step along the stepping stone path which leads into the spacious kitchen/diner.
