The town of Padstow is just a short drive away and is a must-see for those who want to explore the local cuisine. Perhaps the town s most famous resident is the chef Rick Stein who has made Padstow the base for his extensive business including cookery school brasserie deli and fish and chip shop. There is an interesting lobster hatchery here too as well as boat trips across the neighbouring town of Rock with its beach cafes and bars.
