This cottage enjoys a quiet rural location on a country lane just a few miles from Hawkshead and Windermere. Windermere is the region s longest lake and offers a range of boat trips many of which depart from Ambleside which is located five miles away from the property. One of the most popular towns in the Lakes Ambleside has a range of eateries as well as shops. The area is of course extremely popular with walkers and offers many scenic routes at a range of accessibility levels from easy strolls to thrilling mountain climbs. Also within easy access of the property visitors will find Coniston Water Wray Castle The Beatrix Potter Gallery and the Go-Ape high ropes centre in Grizedale Forest. Upstairs accessed via a steep narrow staircase the bedroom is a stylish king-size room which has a pretty Chinese-style screen separating it from the bathroom with its shower bath and WC. Outside the property benefits from an enclosed lawned garden which has table and chairs ideal for an evening drink in this tranquil location. Off-road parking is available.
