Less than a 10 minute drive away you reach the beautiful harbour town of Maryport where you can look over to the Scottish mountain ranges or visit the award winning Lake District Coast Aquarium. Within a 20 minute drive you will find yourself in the picturesque market town of Keswick where you can explore the Cumberland Pencil Museum or why not take in a show at the Theatre by the Lake. You can fish for salmon and trout from the riverbank directly in front of the cottage with a permit or watch the ponies and sheep as they graze in the adjoining field a small play area is available for children The cottage is perfectly positioned to be able to explore the north and central Lake District. Entering the property you will see to your left a twin room with en-suite bathroom with bath shower and WC. From the hallway you will enter the lounge and kitchen which is bright and airy with views across the river the kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave and fridge/freezer. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable with two sofas and a reclining chair TV and CD/DVD. Leading from the lounge you can access the conservatory where there is a dining table with seating for four you will also find a washing machine and tumble dryer this is a wonderful area for you to enjoy the views on offer. The double bedroom is accessed from the lounge with en-suite wet room with shower and WC. Outside of the cottage you have a large decked area with table and chairs and a BBQ here you can enjoy the unspoilt view directly over the river.
