This property is located in the village of Instow a particularly attractive waterfront village which is located on the estuary of the rivers Taw and Torridge. The sandy beach is a lovely place to relax and play whist the village itself is an enjoyable place to wander around and enjoy the various pubs and restaurants. In the warmer months a ferry runs across the estuary to the neighbouring harbour village of Appledore a picture-postcard village with pretty fishermen s cottages and a working harbour with fishing boats and pleasure craft. Just five miles away the beach at Westward Ho! offers a wide expanse of sand and is popular with families and surf enthusiasts alike in fact there is even a surf school here so visitors can have a go at catching a wave. On entering this property guests will find themselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its spacious seating area with comfortable seating TV/DVD and a dining area with table seating six. The kitchen area is tucked away in its own corner and is well-equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Open tread wooden stairs lead from the lounge area to the first-floor accommodation where there are three bedrooms. The first of these is a pleasant double room while a second room has twin beds and a third is a cosy bunk bedroom (not suitable for adults). The bathroom which is also located on the first floor offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside to the rear of the property and accessed through the kitchen area there is an enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and a BBQ which makes it a great place to enjoy an ice cream bought from the locally famed Hockings vans. There is allocated off-road parking provided for one car and restricted on street parking for any additional cars.
