Just outside the town the Cors Caron Nature Reserve is set on a vast wetland site and is home to over 170 species of birds. For those who are willing to travel a little further the Cardigan Bay coast lies some eighteen miles west of the property a superb area to spend a few days exploring with its beaches coves and seaside towns such as Aberystwyth and New Quay. Beyond this there are well-established communal gardens with a stream and wildlife pond which make a lovely place to wander around enjoying the peaceful atmosphere whilst paying a visit to the resident animals which include turkeys chickens and a goat.
