There are a number of walks straight out of the front door with acres of common land to explore or stroll down to the Brecon and Monmouth Canal. The cottage is close to the market town of Abergavenny with its Norman castle shops and famous annual Food Festival. Nearby attractions include Crickhowell with lovely independent shops and village pubs. Some of the best caves in Europe and caving for all levels are to be found on Llangattock Escarpment there are local companies that will guide you. Riding trails across the Black Mountains are close at hand. The Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains have numerous walking and cycling trails for all abilities. Brecon Hereford and Cardiff are all within easy reach. Some of Wales s best restaurants are within a short drive. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: king-size. Bathroom: with bath shower and WC. There is a private garden surrounded by meadows, the stone terrace, lawn and herb beds, make it perfect for sitting out on a summers evening enjoying the view of the Black Mountains. PETS: A dog is very welcome, with good house manners.
