GLAMPING SAFARI TENT IN THE ROLLING MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE Set beneath the Skirrid Mountain on a small family farm with acres of meadows to explore. A friendly welcome from the owner s alpacas awaits great for children or sit back and relax. For larger groups. there 2 more safari tents on site and each accommodate up to 6 guests. The other properties are: Blorenge Skies (43455) and Sugar Loaf Skies (43122) The market town of Abergavenny is within a 10 minute drive with shops and pubs or Monmouth can be reached in around 20 minutes. Day trips to see the Mappa Mundi in Hereford or the 30 book shops in famous book town Hay on Wye are well worth it too. With the Brecon Beacons National Park and Forest of Dean within easy reach there is a wealth of great days out and adventure just waiting to be discovered including Monnow Valley and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Wye Valley. Also there are several Norman Castles within the area Whitecastle Grosmont Castle and Skenfrith are three of note. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size 1 unique double bed in a shed and 1 twin. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with woodburner/stove electric single hob and sofa. Outside: large outside space with exclusive hot tub available as an optional add-on for an extra charge. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen and towels included. A local pub just 2 miles away. 1 dog welcome please note that dogs must be kept on a lead. Additional info: hot and cold shower powered by an electric boiler. Arrival: 4pm. Need to know: SLEEPS 2 6 : Three great sleeping areas, including a proper king size bedroom, a separate twin bedroom and a fantastic double bed in a shed (our favourite one of all)! Beautiful bedding and fluffy towels provided. LARGER GROUPS: For larger groups. there 2 more safari tents on site and each accommodate up to 6 guests. The other properties are: Blorenge Skies (43455) and Sugar Loaf Skies (43122) RELAXING: The tent has a lovely sitting room area, with leather sofa and coffee table. This extends out onto the decking area, with additional outdoor sofas and chairs. Wood burning stove warms the tent. Plus a private hot tub for 6. COOKING: Wooden kitchen units with butler sink, a wood burning stove which doubles as the oven, a back up electric single hob, all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans provided. KEEPING CLEAN: A bathroom with basin and flushing loo, towels and toileteries included. A shower room with hot and cold running water, fuelled by an electric boiler. OUTSIDE: A huge natural play space for all ages. PETS: Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome to come and stay, please note dogs must be kept on a lead and must not be left unattended in the tent. Skirrid Skies is one of three exclusive safari tents on the same farm, and it is the only tent that accepts dogs. HOT TUB: Enjoy your own exclusive hot tub, which is available at an additional charge of 140 for a 7 night stay, or 20 per night for a short break stay.
