The local village of Tretower is within 2 miles and is home to a castle and a trip over the hill will also take you to the lovely Talgarth Mill. It is a great location for heading off to Hay-on-Wye browsing in Brecon or stocking up in Crickhowell. The Brecon Beacons National Park is perfect for walking and cycling and the Rivers Usk & Wye are both nearby for fishing. Day permits for the Usk are available in Crickhowell and canoes for the River Wye can be rented in Glasbury. This charming cottage has its own parking and entrance and sits within the grounds of the owner s property although your privacy is respected at all times. Leisure facilities: private hot tub. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 twin (with restricted head height) and on the ground floor you ll find 1 king-size bedroom. Shower room: with shower and WC. Lounge/diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV and DVD. Kitchen: with oven and hob and American style fridge/freezer. Outside: enclosed garden with BBQ garden furniture and hot tub. SETTING: The cottage is detached with its own private garden, parking and entrance, it sits within the grounds of the owners property, although your privacy is respected at all times. MIND YOUR HEAD: The upstairs twin bedroom is within the eaves of the cottage, the beds are full sized single beds, however the head height is low and more suited to children.
