This cottage is situated in the grounds of the owner s home on the outskirts of the historic harbour town of Bideford. The town with its quaint cobbled streets traditional pannier market independent shops and range of well-regarded eateries is a great place to enjoy a slice of authentic Devonshire life and is a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding area. The two-mile wide beach at Westward Ho! is just three miles away as is the pretty village beach at Instow. A ferry runs from Instow taking passengers across the estuary to the neighbouring fishing village of Appledore where visitors will find a number of bistros and a pretty quay where they can watch the fishermen return with the day s catch. This single-storey property offers comfortable accommodation which makes a fantastic base for a couple who want to enjoy a relaxing break in North Devon.
