This unique holiday cottage in Roughton retains much of its original old character but provides modern facilities. It is opposite the attractive village common located by the B1436 which provides easy access to many of Norfolk s attractions and a wide range of places of interest to suit all tastes. Only a short walk brings you to the amenities in Roughton including a fish and chip shop pub/restaurant tearoom fishing lake and children s play equipment. The popular seaside resort of Cromer 4 miles away famous for freshly caught seafood and end of pier entertainment has museums golf tennis and a Zoo Park. The carnivals in Cromer and Sheringham in August provide great family entertainment. Sheringham offers steam train rides along the coast live theatre and a leisure pool/sports centre. Local National Trust properties to visit include Felbrigg Hall Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park which has stunning landscaped gardens. Sandy picturesque beaches are easily accessible all along the coast with seals at Blakeney Point. Explore nature trails or hire a boat to enjoy the Norfolk Broads. From the lounge traditional cottage steep stairs give access to the comfortable double bedroom and a walk-through wardrobe leads to the twin bedroom with flatscreen TV. Another traditional Norfolk Winder stairway leads from the twin bedroom to the dining room. Outside: A secluded rear enclosed garden with table and chairs recliners and BBQ. There is also lockable cycle storage available. There is off road parking for 2 cars. A wooden cot and an additional Z bed can be provided for either of the bedrooms.
