Dartmoor National Park the edge of which is just four miles from the property offers stunning scenery paths and cycle ways for all abilities and a wealth of wildlife. Other attractions in the area include the National Trust properties of Buckland Abbey and Cothele the city of Plymouth and Morwhellam Quay. This property is one-of-three on this 160-acre farm and offers comfortable quirky accommodation for adults only (babes in arms under six months are welcome). The property occupies the first floor of the farm s roundhouse barn and is accessed by a flight of external stairs which lead to the front door. Once inside guests will love the rounded exposed stone walls in all of the rooms as well as the sloping beamed ceilings which give the property a unique charm. The lounge/diner which occupies one half of the circular building has window seats running all around the edge allowing guests to enjoy views across the farm and the surrounding countryside and there is also a small dining table as well as comfortable sofa seating and a TV DVD and hi-fi. The separate kitchen is equipped with everything that guests will need including an electric oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and washing machine. The delightful bedroom is a lovely restful space with a double bed. The properties bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside the property benefits from its own raised patio area with garden furniture so that guests can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of their surroundings in privacy.
